What is the Teen Summer Challenge?
It’s our fitness programs geared for teens 13-17 years old to help build their fitness levels in a small group, friendly environment. It is suitable for teens of all fitness abilities from ages 13-17. It will help our teens develop their balance, coordination and endurance. It can also improve their bone density. Which is crucial during the bone growing years!
But my teenager doesn’t play sport.
We know that many teenagers hate sport. But, still enjoy fitness. Our sessions are the perfect way to build exercise into their weekly lives. It is a great way for teens to meet new friends. As well as build confidence and learn how to set fitness goals. Staying fit can help improve self-esteem and decrease the risk of injury or illness later in life.
My teenager is always ‘busy’ and doesn’t have much time out of school to take part in any fitness regime.
We know that many teens we have met feel frustrated that between school and extracurricular activities, they do not have enough time to make exercise a part of their daily routine. Our sessions are quick, efficient as well as providing ideas for individuals to keep up their fitness during the week.
There don’t seem to be many opportunities for my teen to get fit
We know parents who have teens, feel today’s youth have fewer opportunities to exercise on a daily basis than they did a generation ago. Not surprisingly, some teenagers feel that their fitness levels decrease over the summer when school is out.
But teen most teenagers agree that they want to stay healthy and active over the summer
